Note, this event will be held on zoom only.

Based on the critically acclaimed dramatic film and inspired by true events, No Address shows how homelessness could happen to anyone.

In our January First Friday event, we will dive into the gripping tale of No Address, a powerful story inspired by true events and brought to life in both film and literature. This critically acclaimed drama explores the harsh realities of homelessness, reminding us that it can happen to anyone, regardless of background or circumstance.

No Address follows a diverse group of individuals who find themselves on the streets due to unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances. The film and book provide a raw, unflinching look at their struggle for survival against the backdrop of gangs, vigilantes, and an indifferent society.

We meet Lauren, a recent high school graduate locked out of her foster home with no place to go and no family to turn to. Jimmy, a young man who fled an abusive home and, as a result, spirals into homelessness. And Robert, a successful real estate broker whose battle with addiction puts his family and career at risk, leading him down the perilous road of homelessness.

As their paths cross, these individuals face life-threatening challenges, but through their resilience, strength, and the bonds of true friendship, they find hope in the most unexpected places.

Join us for a powerful discussion on No Address, where we will explore the enduring human spirit and the lessons of empathy, survival, and community that this remarkable story imparts. We look forward to seeing you there!
