Lifelong Leaders Workshop

The Wheel of Life: An Exercise in setting Priorities
The Wheel of Life is a simple but powerful personal development tool used to help people step back and evaluate the major areas of their lives. Typically, the wheel is divided into categories such as career, finances, health, relationships, family, personal growth, recreation, spirituality, and physical environment. It makes it easy to get a visual on what areas in your life need more work or attention.
The value of the exercise is not perfection, but perspective. For example, someone may be thriving professionally but neglecting health, relationships, or rest. Seeing that imbalance visually can make it easier to identify what needs attention.
What is First Friday Focus?
Every month, EBR’s faculty — professionals with decades of real-world experience implementing the ideas found in the world’s greatest business and leadership books — distill the best of what we’ve learned into one focused, practical, one-hour Zoom session. No fluff. No overwhelm. Just wisdom you can actually use.
Here’s how your hour breaks down:
The Deep Dive (20 minutes) — We go deep on one powerful insight from a classic like Think and Grow Rich, Atomic Habits, Dare to Lead, or any of the 200+ books in the EBR library. Not a summary — a focused lens on one idea, made clear and immediately applicable to your life and work.
The Conversation (20 minutes) — Open discussion with a zoom room full of smart, growth-minded professionals. What does this look like in your world? What have you tried? What’s working? What doesn’t work? This is where insight becomes wisdom.
The Quick Win (20 minutes) — Practical tips you can apply today. A time-saving tech trick. A communication technique that changes how people hear you. A productivity habit that actually sticks. Concrete, tested, and ready to use before the week is out.
One hour a month. Zero cost to attend. A lifetime of ideas behind every session.
EBR has been connecting lifelong learners since 2014. Come find your people.
Note, this event will be held on zoom only.
